What to expect
For most people, shipping a car is a unique experience and can be a bit scary. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Think of us as your personal chauffeur through the entire relocation process. We’ll let you know exactly how things will go, what you need to do and all the things that we’ll do to make this move an exceptional one.
Starting with your order booking call, we go through the entire shipping process, selecting your best shipping option, dates that work for you and shipping to-dos to get your car ready. All instructions will be sent via email.
Three days before shipment, we’ll call with prechecks to confirm and review pre-shipping plans, and the day prior to shipping, we will call to arrange a 2- to 3-hour window for pick up. The Service Center will not come out to pick up your vehicle without confirmation, so please be sure to take their call or call back if they leave a voicemail. On pick-up day, our driver will perform a thorough inspection to note any preexisting damage and, once you sign the release, your car will be loaded and on its way.
The day following pick up, your dedicated rep will check in and provide available updates on your shipment. Then, you’ll receive transit updates midway through and we’ll make a final predelivery call to review the process for inspecting and receiving your vehicle. Finally, you’ll receive a delivery-scheduling call where we arrange a 2- to 3-hour window for delivery.
When your car arrives, our driver will unload your vehicle, go through a detailed inspection and have you sign off on delivery receipt. The next day, your dedicated rep will follow up with a phone call to make sure you are satisfied, address any outstanding issues and, on the rare chance your vehicle is damaged, will help get your claim started.
